CONSERVATION CONTEST

B.C. Hydro is launching a new "green initiative" and conservation contest, designed to capture the creative spirit and imagination of today’s younger generation.

They’re looking for brilliant ideas from B.C. residents between the ages of 14 and 24 who want to submit essays or videos that promote energy conservation and sustainability. (See details at www.inventthefuture.ca).

Ideas don’t have to be polished, posh or produced by professionals…just practical enough to impress the judges (who will be looking for that ‘gee-whiz-that’s-a-really-neat-idea’ or ‘I-never-thought-of-that’!) In short, any idea that you think will really make a difference will be welcome!
